Catch Nushabad Tazieh performance in photos

In commemoration of Imam Hussein’s (AS) martyrdom, Nushabad City has hosted Tazieh performance (Persian passion play) on the 11th evening of the mourning month of Muharram.

During the traditional ceremony held in Isfahan Province, the artists performed Tazieh that is a form of Iranian national and dramatic musical play in expression of religious passion.

This traditional and folkloric play narrates the story of martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS), grandson of the Prophet Muhammad [PBUH], and his 72 companions in the Battle of Karbala.
